Danish Sound Technology network

Danish Sound Technology Network is an innovation network funded by the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation and hosted by the Technical University of Denmark. The vision of the network is that Denmark is a leading country with regards to sound technology in terms of knowledge, research and education. Danish sound technology will be the epitome of high quality in products and services, as well as in physical rooms and social contexts.  A central role for the network since it was founded in 2009 has been to connect the many different business sectors in sound technology and create interdisciplinary dynamics with a focus on innovative technological solutions. Sound technology products and services are broadly characterized by the fact that sound is a key part of the problem or the solution. The network currently engages 550 members from 320 organizations. The network activities are structured around five specific themes which helps the dissemination of the strengths and competencies in Danish sound technology. The collaboration with AUDUX belongs under the headings “Sound recording and reproduction” and “Digital media systems”.
